NEET UG Round 1 Choice Filling Begins
Source: Official Website of MCC The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened Round 1 choice filling for NEET-UG 2026 counselling. Candidates who are interested in availing seats through this process must ensure that their choices are filled correctly before August 13th, 2026 by 11:00 AM. The MCC counselling covers only the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, plus AIIMS, JIPMER, central universities, deemed universities, ESIC institutes, and B.Sc Nursing seats. The remaining 85% state quota seats are counselled separately by respective state authorities. The Round 1 choice-filling is the most important step in the entire NEET-UG admission cycle.
