NEET UG 2026 Seat Matrix Out

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the NEET UG 2026 Seat Matrix to inform students about the current standing of seats available across various medical institutions in India. 


The list includes a number of new seats added, as well as a handful of new colleges being set up in the country to accommodate for the rise in medical aspirants. This move allows India to make more room for a larger body of medical professionals across the nation.


India will now have a total of 1,36,939 MBBS seats, all of which is spread across 823 medical colleges for the academic session of 2026-27. Note that a total of about 25 newly established colleges is included in this list, which are meant to increase the total number of seats available.
