The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has begun the COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) counselling 2026 registration process. Candidates who have not yet registered can apply for the same through the official COMEDK website. 


Engineering: The COMEDK Registration for Counselling commenced on May 30, 2026, and was closed, after twice being extended, on June 12th, 2026 for Engineering. However, the Document Verification process is ongoing, and will continue until June 30th, 2026. 


Architecture: The COMEDK Registration for Counselling opened on June 22th, 2026 for Architecture. The final date for registration and to upload documents was previously June 29th, 2026. The new deadline is now July 2nd (9 AM). Information regarding Document Verification is yet to be released.


The COMEDK UGET Counselling Process 2026 will consist of multiple rounds. The seat allotment will be based on the candidate’s preferences and the availability of seats. Candidates will move up to the next round depending on the preferences they selected earlier. An additional round of counselling will be held specifically for candidates who cleared the Class 12 supplementary exam conducted by the PUC board this year, to fill the remaining vacant seats.


Steps to Register for COMEDK UGET Counselling 2026:


Step 1: Visit the official website of COMEDK. 


Step 2: Click on the ‘Login’ tab located in the top right corner of the home page.


Step 3: On the candidate login page, enter the ‘User ID’ and ‘Password’ along with the captcha displayed on the screen.


Step 4: Click on the ‘Login’ button.


Step 5: Select the ‘Counselling Registration’ tab. 


Step 6: Cross-check the mentioned information and pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 2000. 


Step 7: Complete the payment process and ensure it shows a payment status of ‘successful/ S’. If the payment is unsuccessful, it will be marked as ’unsuccessful/ failed/ F’. Candidates must reinitiate the payment process in case of payment failure. 


Step 8: Once the ‘successful / S’ payment status is displayed on the screen, re-login to the candidate portal and click on the ‘Counselling Registration’ tab.


Step 9: Select the ‘Document Upload’ tab, which will be visible only if the registration and fee payment are completed.


Step 10: Upload all the necessary documents as mentioned on the website.


Step 11: Verify all the uploaded documents and reupload the unclear ones.


Step 12: After uploading all the required documents, submit the Document Upload Form. Candidates cannot make any changes to the uploaded documents after clicking on the ‘Submit’ button.


Step 13: Frequently check the status of the application form and the verification status of the uploaded documents through your applicant portal and email.
