Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2026 Registrations Extended

Eligible candidates seeking admission to postgraduate programmes can register online through the official KEA website. The registration window opened on March 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM, and was scheduled to close on April 8, 2026, at 11:59 PM. This has been extended to April 20, 11:59 PM. Candidates must additionally pay the application fee before the new extended date – April 22, 2026. Karnataka PGCET 2026 is a state-level entrance examination conducted for admission to postgraduate courses such as M.Tech., MCA, M.E., and MBA across institutions in Karnataka. The exam will be held in offline mode (OMR-based), featuring 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark, for a total of 100 marks per paper. According to the official schedule, the PGCET 2026 examinations will be conducted on May 23 and May 24, 2026. The M.E./ M.Tech. exam is scheduled for May 23 (Saturday) from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. On May 24 (Sunday), the MCA exam will take place from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by the MBA exam from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Non-programmable calculators will be allowed only for candidates appearing for the M.E./ M.Tech. exam. Step 1: Go to the official KEA website. Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Admissions’ section and select PGCET-2026 (M.Tech/ MBA/ MCA/ M.Arch). Step 3: Click on the ‘PGCET-2026 Online Application’ link. Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and choose ‘Proceed to Registration for New User’ if you are applying for the first time. Existing users should click on ‘Proceed to Login for Registered Users’. Step 5: Complete the registration process to create your login credentials. Step 6: Log in using your credentials, fill out the application form, and upload the required documents. Step 7: Pay the application fee, verify all the entered details, and submit the form.
