The Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc) course commenced in 2020 to meet the demands of library education. The course is offered by the RCSS Department of Library and Information and is affiliated with MG University. It is also the first integrated library science programme offered by the university. M.Lib.I.Sc is a two-year programme having an annual intake of 30. Candidates must meet the admission criteria and go through a careful selection process to get admitted to this programme. Alongside theoretical knowledge, students also gain practical experience through internships at major libraries as well as mini projects. The master’s in library and information science at Rajagiri consists of subjects, such as knowledge optimisation, information technology, research methodology, information systems and products, library and information centre management and more.
