The BCA (Hons.) programme at RCSS imparts valuable IT skills to students and nurtures them for various roles in the IT industry. The curriculum helps students develop expertise in software development, coding, system analysis and other technical areas of the field. Additionally, it fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Apart from coursework, students are encouraged to learn through hands-on projects and practical labs that are aligned with industry standards. The duration of the BCA degree at Rajagiri depends on the programme students opt for. They can either exit after the third year with a non-honours BCA degree or finish four years with honours or a honours with research degree. 

The course also includes mandatory professional certifications such as AWS Certified Data Engineer-Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Data Scientist Associate, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Blockchain Council Certified Generative AI Expert, and PCAP-Certified Associate in Python Programming, to further enhance the students’ skills and ensure they are industry-ready.
