The B.E in Civil Engineering course at KNSIT is a 4-year undergraduate course affiliated with VTU and approved by AICTE. The CE department at KNSIT has multifaceted faculty striving to explore new frontiers of knowledge and impart the latest technical knowledge to students. The department is actively doing consultancy work. In addition to classroom education, students receive exposure to cutting-edge Civil Engineering practices through the KNSIT's industry interaction, field visits, internships,  in-house projects, technical workshops, seminars, and in-house/ on-site camps. 

The Civil Department has a well-equipped laboratory and supports consulting. The Computer-Aided Design (CAD) lab is fully equipped with the latest hardware/ software and has assisted students in keeping up with the latest versions of STAAD-PRO, AUTOCAD, MS Project, PRIMAVERA, RIVET, and GIS. The CE department has signed MOUs to assist students in securing internship programs and placements. Many CE students have done well in extracurricular activities and won prizes at college and inter-college events. KNSIT’s CE department alumni are employed in many Institutions, Industries, and Government sectors.
